We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Matcharista to join our team. As a Matcharista, you will be more than a barista; you will be an ambassador for high-quality matcha, specializing in crafting exceptional matcha lattes, traditional whisked matcha, and other unique, wellness-focused beverages. You will create a welcoming, knowledgeable, and energetic atmosphere for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare hot and cold matcha beverages, including traditional whisking , matcha lattes, smoothies, and teas, adhering to strict recipes and quality standards.

Customer Engagement & Education: Greet customers warmly, educate them on the benefits and origins of different matcha grades, and provide menu recommendations based on preferences.

Operational Efficiency: Operate espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and, crucially, traditional bamboo whisking tools with precision.

Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workstation, following all health and safety guidelines.

Inventory & Stocking: Monitor inventory levels (matcha, milk, pastries), restock supplies, and report any maintenance needs for brewing equipment.

Cash Handling:



Process payments accurately using the POS system.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a smooth, positive, and effective workflow during peak hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Passion for Matcha: Genuine interest in tea culture, wellness, and specialized beverages.

Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a caf/food service role is preferred (training on specific matcha techniques will be provided).

Customer Service Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills, friendly, and approachable attitude.

Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring ingredients to ensure consistent, high-quality products.

Multitasking Ability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and accuracy.

Flexibility: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, mornings, or evenings.

Preferred Requirements

Basic latte art skills.
