Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Ayurveda Panchakarma Therapist to provide authentic Ayurvedic therapies and Panchakarma treatments as prescribed by the Ayurveda Physician. The candidate will be responsible for delivering treatments safely and professionally while ensuring patient/guest comfort, hygiene, privacy, and adherence to established treatment protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Perform Panchakarma and other Ayurvedic therapies as prescribed by the Ayurveda Physician.

Conduct therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil, Njavarakizhi, Kizhi, Basti, Nasya, Udwartana and other Kerala Ayurvedic treatments, as trained and authorised.

Prepare treatment rooms, oils, herbal preparations, equipment, and other materials before each therapy.

Follow treatment procedures and instructions provided by the Ayurveda Physician.

Ensure patient/guest comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety throughout the treatment.

Monitor the patient's/guest's response during therapy and immediately report any concerns to the physician or supervisor.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of therapy rooms and equipment.

Maintain accurate treatment records and daily therapy schedules.

Handle Ayurvedic oils, medicines, herbal preparations, and therapy equipment responsibly.

Explain basic therapy procedures and after-care instructions to patients/guests.

Coordinate with Ayurveda physicians, nurses, and wellness staff for smooth treatment delivery.

Follow the organisation's SOPs, safety guidelines, and professional standards.

Maintain a courteous, skilled, and service-oriented approach at all times.

Required Qualifications





Diploma/Certificate in Ayurveda Therapy / Panchakarma Therapy / Ayurveda Nursing or equivalent qualification.

Candidates with a Government-recognised Ayurveda Therapist/Panchakarma qualification will be preferred.

Basic knowledge of Ayurveda principles, anatomy, physiology, and Panchakarma procedures.

Practical knowledge of traditional Kerala Ayurvedic therapies.

Kerala's current vocational framework for Ayurveda Therapists includes Panchakarma and Kerala-specific Ayurvedic treatment procedures, while government recruitment has also recognised relevant Panchakarma training/experience pathways.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Freshers with a recognised qualification and strong practical training may also be considered.

Experience in an Ayurveda hospital, wellness centre, luxury Ayurveda resort, or Panchakarma centre will be an advantage.

Candidates with international/Ayurveda luxury resort experience will be preferred for premium wellness properties.

Key Skills

Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on therapies.

Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge of English/Hindi/Malayalam will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in traditional Kerala Ayurvedic therapies, be comfortable working with patients/guests from different backgrounds, and demonstrate professionalism, patience, and a strong service mindset.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
