Data Engineer/Software Development Engineer Experience: 8 years Location: Kolkata (work from office) Immediate joiners only(0-30 Days) Hands on experience in Python, Pyspark, AWS & Databricks Domain preference: Healthcare, Insurance (Claims), Pharma, Lifescience, Banking, Finance Required Skills: DBMS: Deep familiarity with standard relational databases like MySQL or enterprise analytical data warehouses like AWS Redshift.

Writing and Tuning Code: Mastery of advanced DDL/DML, analytical window functions, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), and complex set-based logic. Knowledge/experience of DataBricks architecture will be a huge bonus.

Experience in the AWS ecosystem will also be a bonus. Programming & Automation: Standard scripting capabilities. Deep knowledge in Python will be a huge plus;

Query Performance Tuning: Expertise reading execution plans, rewriting problematic queries, eliminating cursor-based loops, and mitigating concurrency issues like deadlocks. Apply robust analytical and problem-solving skills to debug data anomalies and support healthcare risk modelling platforms. Act as a technical anchor for the team, establishing engineering best practices and mentoring mid-level engineers.

Collaborate closely with US stakeholders to ensure high availability and seamless execution of the Risk & Analytics module.
