Role Description The Associate Relationship Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Chandigarh, India. The role involves managing and deepening relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their banking needs, and offering appropriate products and services across deposits, loans, and other retail solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting customer meetings, assisting with account opening and documentation, following up on leads, and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries.

The Associate Relationship

Manager will collaborate with branch teams to achieve sales and service targets,



maintain compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to a positive customer experience. The role also requires regular monitoring of customer portfolios to identify cross-selling opportunities and support long-term engagement.

Qualifications

- Solid customer relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer segments.
- Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, cross-selling, and achieving branch-level targets.
- Basic understanding of retail banking products such as savings accounts, fixed deposits, personal and business loans, and agricultural or MSME credit.
- Solid communication and negotiation skills, with proficiency in English and local languages preferred.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for handling documentation, KYC compliance, and transaction accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with branch teams, handle multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in management or finance is an advantage.
- Prior experience in banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory for strong entry-level candidates.
