This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Associate Director-Business Operations based in India.

This is a strategic business operations leadership role focused on strengthening operating models, governance, and execution across a complex digital technology organization.

You will help shape long-range operating strategies while improving management systems, transparency, accountability, and organizational performance.

The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring you to turn complex organizational challenges into practical, scalable solutions.

You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners across Technology, Finance, Program Management, and Business Enablement.

A major focus will be driving structured process improvement, data-driven decision-making, risk management, and operational discipline.

You will also influence financial and resource planning while supporting communication, engagement, and organizational transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities:

- Business Operations and Strategy: Support and execute the business operations strategy, operating model, and governance framework while improving organizational clarity, alignment, accountability, execution discipline, and management routines.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives that simplify processes, reduce waste, improve efficiency, and strengthen execution through structured problem-solving and CORE methodology, identifying root causes and implementing practical solutions.
- Performance Management: Lead business reviews and operational analysis with senior leadership and key stakeholders, developing and monitoring KPIs and performance measures that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
- Governance and Risk Management: Manage risk, issue, and change-control processes across programs and workstreams, improving visibility, accountability, escalation practices, and early identification of organizational risks.

- Financial and Resource Planning: Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning, ensuring investments and resources remain aligned with strategic priorities while providing operational and financial insights to leadership.
- Communication and Engagement: Develop communication plans that improve transparency and organizational alignment,



while supporting town halls, leadership reviews, employee engagement activities, and transparent communication of priorities, progress, and outcomes.
- Organizational Transformation: Drive organization-wide improvements and transformation initiatives, identifying systemic challenges and developing scalable solutions that strengthen management systems, operating models, and continuous improvement capabilities.

Requirements

- Professional Experience: Bring 15+ years of relevant professional experience with increasing responsibility and strategic scope, including significant experience in business operations, operational strategy, transformation, or organizational improvement.
- Business and Operations Expertise: Demonstrate strong business acumen across program management, project management, operations management, risk management, financial stewardship, and process improvement.
- Strategic Leadership: Possess strong strategic thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to translate organizational priorities into effective operating strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Stakeholder Management: Demonstrate the ability to influence, align, and collaborate with senior stakeholders across diverse functions and departments within a complex, matrixed workplace.

- Process Improvement: Have proven expertise in driving operational rigor, process improvement, and organizational transformation using structured methodologies, with a strong CORE and continuous-improvement mindset.
- Governance and Performance: Experience developing operating models, management systems, portfolio governance, KPIs, operational performance frameworks, and risk and change governance is highly desirable.
- Financial Planning: Experience partnering with Finance on budget strategy, forecasting, resource planning, and investment decisions is preferred.

- Leadership Capability: Demonstrate the management and leadership capability to lead cross-functional project teams or coordinate across multiple related departments while maintaining strong execution discipline.
- Communication: Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information clearly, concisely,



and with impact to senior audiences.
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or another related STEM discipline is required, while an advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.

- Certification: A CORE Professional Certification is required.
- Additional Experience: Experience developing long-range operating strategies, managing organizational transformation, identifying systemic challenges, and creating simple, scalable solutions is strongly preferred.
