Company Description PawfectCare is an Android application designed to help pet parents manage everyday pet care, health information, reminders, and community interactions in one place. The platform combines pet profiles, health records, health passports, care reminders, vaccination and grooming schedules, AI-powered assistance, and a dedicated pet-focused social community.

PawfectCare is being built using modern Android technologies such as Kotlin, XML, MVVM architecture, Supabase, Firebase, Room, Retrofit, and AI tools. The product vision is to make pet care more organized, accessible, and connected while giving pet owners practical tools to manage their pets’ daily needs. Team members have the opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven product that directly improves pet care experiences.

Role Description The Android Developer will work on the PawfectCare Android application, focusing on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality mobile features. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing user interfaces using Kotlin and XML, integrating with backend services and databases, and applying MVVM architecture best practices.

The role involves collaborating with product, design, and QA teams to refine requirements, optimize performance, and ensure a smooth user experience for pet parents.



The developer will also participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of the app’s architecture and development processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and building Mobile Applications for Android platforms.
- Proficiency in Android Development and Android Design, including contemporary UI patterns and responsive layouts.
- Solid foundation in Software Development principles, including clean code practices, testing, and version control.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin, XML, MVVM architecture, and Android Jetpack components.
- Experience working with Firebase, Room, Retrofit, and RESTful APIs; familiarity with Supabase is a plus.
- Understanding of performance optimization, offline storage, push notifications, and app security best practices.
- Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team, communicate clearly, and take ownership of features from concept to release.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in pet care and building consumer-facing applications that are intuitive and engaging.
