AI Product Manager – Creative Engine

Focus: Copywriting and Media Generation

Location: Gurgaon, India

Work arrangement: 5 days a week from office

Experience: 3–6 years

Reports to: Head of Product / Creative Engine Lead

About the role

We are building a Creative Engine that helps brands produce high-quality, on-brand content at scale-from marketing copy and campaign concepts to images and other media.

The platform brings together brand intelligence, creative briefs, generative AI models, reusable characters and visual identities, batch generation, review workflows, and human creative judgment. Our goal is not simply to generate more content. It is to help teams consistently create content that is relevant, distinctive, safe, and ready to use.

We are looking for an AI Product Manager to own the content-generation experience across two core areas:

- Copy generation: Campaign concepts, headlines, captions, scripts, descriptions, marketing copy, and content variations for various communication channels like Email, SMS, Push, Whatsapp etc.
- Media generation: Images and, over time, video, audio, avatars, and other emerging formats.

You will define how users move from an idea or creative brief to approved content—and how AI models, creative controls, evaluation systems, and human review come together throughout that journey. What you will own
- The product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered copywriting and media generation.
- Workflows that translate campaign and creative briefs into structured generation experiences.
- User journeys for generating, refining, comparing, reviewing, and approving content.
- The use of brand guidelines, product information, audience context, campaign objectives, and previous creative work to improve output quality.
- Consistency of characters, products, environments, visual styles, and brand identities across creative assets.

- Creative controls that give users meaningful direction without requiring prompt-engineering expertise.
- Iteration capabilities such as rewriting, regenerating, expanding, shortening, restyling, localizing, resizing, and creating variations.
- Human-in-the-loop workflows for feedback, approval, versioning, and export.

- Model selection and orchestration based on quality, speed, cost, reliability, format, and use case.
- Evaluation systems for brand alignment, creative quality, factual accuracy, visual consistency, safety, and usability.
- Generation reliability, latency, failure recovery, observability, and cost efficiency.

- Product requirements related to content safety, copyright, consent, data privacy, and responsible AI.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product roadmap for AI-powered copy and media creation.
- Conduct regular research with marketers, creative teams, designers, copywriters, agencies, and brand managers.

- Identify high-value creative workflows and translate them into clear product requirements.
- Work closely with design, engineering, applied AI, data, creative, legal, and go-to-market teams.
- Evaluate foundation models and specialist AI providers through structured testing and experimentation.

- Collaborate with the AI team on prompts, context management, model routing, guardrails, configuration, and fallback behaviour.
- Build evaluation datasets and feedback loops using automated measures and human creative review.
- Define and track metrics for adoption, output quality, acceptance, iteration time, retention, latency, reliability, and cost.

- Run experiments that increase the percentage of generated content users can confidently publish.
- Balance rapid experimentation with the reliability required from a production creative platform.
- Communicate product decisions, trade-offs, results, and learnings clearly across the organisation.

- Stay current with developments in language, image, video, audio, and multimodal generation.

What success looks like The primary measure of success is not generation volume. It is the creation of useful, approved content with less time and effort.

Success will be measured through outcomes such as:

- Reduced time from creative brief to first usable output.
- Higher percentage of generations accepted, shortlisted, approved, or exported.
- Fewer iterations required to reach a publishable result.
- Stronger brand, product, and character consistency.
- Improved copy relevance, factual accuracy, and tone adherence.
- Increased adoption and repeat usage of generation workflows.
- Higher generation reliability and lower end-to-end latency.
- Reduced model and infrastructure cost per approved asset.
- Low rates of safety, compliance,

or intellectual-property incidents.

What we are looking for
- 3–6 years of product-management experience, preferably in AI/ML, creative technology, marketing technology, SaaS, or content platforms.
- Understanding on Workflow tools.
- Experience taking complex products from discovery through launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Practical understanding of generative AI, including LLMs, image models, prompting, context management, model evaluation, and human feedback.
- Strong judgment about the difference between technically impressive output and genuinely usable creative work.
- Experience working closely with designers, engineers, data or ML teams, and customer-facing functions.
- Ability to turn ambiguous creative workflows into simple and coherent product experiences.
- Strong analytical skills and experience defining measurable product outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment where model capabilities, user expectations, and constraints evolve quickly.

Good to have
- Experience building copywriting, design, campaign-management, digital-asset-management, or media-generation products.
- Familiarity with image or video-generation concepts such as reference conditioning, character consistency, inpainting, outpainting, style control, and upscaling.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, brand knowledge systems, or structured content pipelines.
- Experience designing evaluation frameworks for subjective or creative output.
- Knowledge of advertising workflows, localization, channel-specific creative requirements, and creative performance.
- Understanding of AI safety, copyright, likeness and consent management, provenance, and enterprise data governance.
- A robust personal interest in writing, visual storytelling, filmmaking, design, advertising, or another creative discipline.

The kind of PM who will thrive here You are curious about AI but not distracted by novelty. You understand that excellent creative tools combine model capability with taste, context, control, and thoughtful workflows.

You can discuss model trade-offs with an AI engineer, critique a campaign with a creative director, understand a marketer’s operational constraints, and turn these perspectives into focused product decisions.

Most importantly, you care about helping people produce better creative work—not merely generate more of it.
