About the role
We are looking for a Senior AI Cloud Engineer to design, build, and optimize large-scale AWS and Azure cloud environments with a strong focus on automation and intelligent CloudOps. In this role, you'll develop cloud-native applications, implement AI-powered solutions, and drive infrastructure automation using modern DevSecOps practices. You'll work across cloud engineering, AI orchestration, and platform operations while mentoring teams and contributing to enterprise-scale cloud initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop,
and maintain cloud-native services and internal platforms using Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask).
- Build secure, scalable REST and event-driven APIs on AWS and Azure.
- Build and orchestrate AI agents and Generative AI/LLM solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, MCP tool-calling, guardrails, evaluations, and cost/token controls.
- Drive intelligent CloudOps and AIOps initiatives, including anomaly detection, predictive scaling, self-healing automation, and incident, problem, and change management.
- Own the infrastructure lifecycle end-to-end using Terraform with modular Infrastructure as Code and policy-as-code practices.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Embed DevSecOps best practices across cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines.
- Govern and optimize enterprise-scale AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Provide deep technical ownership and mentor engineering teams.
Must have skills
- 6+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or cloud development roles.
- Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML or Generative AI-enabled systems in production.
- Advanced Python skills for production-grade cloud-native applications.
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
- Strong API design and testing practices.
- Enterprise-scale experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Enterprise-scale experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Experience with serverless, PaaS, and container-based cloud services.
- Experience building agentic AI or multi-agent workflows (LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or equivalent).
- Experience with LLM orchestration platforms such as Azure OpenAI or Amazon Bedrock.
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Experience with embeddings and vector search.
- Expert-level Terraform.
- Knowledge of CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or Ansible.
- Strong observability experience with tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, or ELK/OpenSearch.
- Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot and reviewing AI-generated code.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
