ABOUT THE SPIRITED SPOT The Spirited Spot (TSS) is a high-energy bar and dining destination built around global food, craft cocktails, live music and warm hospitality.

After establishing TSS in Nagpur, we have now opened our Pune outlet in Baner.

Our Pune property also includes Downtown Coffee, our neighbourhood café concept.

As our operations grow, we are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant who can manage day-to-day accounts and maintain strong financial discipline at the outlet level.

ROLE The Accountant will be responsible for daily accounting, sales reconciliation, purchase entries, vendor accounts, banking, taxation support and financial records for the Pune operations.

We need someone who is accurate, organised and comfortable working in a fast-moving restaurant and bar environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts.
- Record all purchase, expense, payment and receipt entries accurately.
- Perform daily sales reconciliation with POS reports.
- Reconcile collections across cash, credit/debit cards, UPI and online payment platforms.
- Verify daily cash closing and identify any differences.
- Check purchase bills before accounting and payment processing.
- Maintain proper vendor ledgers and outstanding statements.
- Reconcile vendor accounts regularly.
- Prepare vendor payment schedules.
- Maintain petty cash records and supporting documents.
- Perform bank reconciliation.
- Maintain records of advances, deposits and other payments.
- Coordinate with purchase and store teams for invoice and stock-related documentation.
- Check supporting documents for expenses and purchases.
- Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
- Maintain proper records for audits and taxation.
- Coordinate with the company’s CA and external consultants when required.
- Assist management with monthly closing and MIS reports.




- Prepare basic reports on sales, expenses, outstanding payments and cash flow.
- Maintain organised physical and digital accounting records.
- Support management with financial information whenever required.

HOSPITALITY ACCOUNTING Restaurant and bar accounting requires strong control over daily transactions.

The candidate should be comfortable working with:

POS Sales · Cash · UPI · Cards · Vendor Purchases · Food & Beverage Bills · Petty Cash · Inventory Documentation · GST · TDS · Bank Reconciliation

Previous experience handling accounts for a restaurant, bar, hotel, café or hospitality company will be strongly preferred.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR The candidate should have:

- B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification.
- Previous professional accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of Tally / accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of GST and TDS.
- Experience with bank and vendor reconciliation.
- Robust numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain proper documentation and records.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- High level of responsibility and confidentiality.
- Experience in the restaurant, bar, hotel or hospitality industry will be strongly preferred.

WHAT WE EXPECT In hospitality, hundreds of transactions can happen in a single day. Small errors repeated every day can become large problems.

We therefore need an Accountant who does not simply enter numbers into software, but checks, reconciles and questions anything that does not match.
