We are looking for a passionate and qualified Special Educator to join our growing team and contribute to strengthening inclusive education across India.
This is not a traditional school-based teaching role. The position focuses on training, mentoring, academic guidance, IEP quality, content development, and program support for Special Educators. The selected candidate will work remotely with our psychology and program teams and will not be responsible for direct one-to-one intervention with Children with Special Needs (CWSN).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging online training sessions for Special Educators across project locations.
- Provide academic mentoring on assessment, intervention planning, and IEP implementation.
- Review IEPs and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and outcomes.
- Develop training modules, presentations, instructional resources, and academic content.
- Collaborate with psychologists and program teams to develop standardized academic resources and practices.
- Support educator capacity-building and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop templates, tools, and documentation to strengthen program quality.
- Maintain training records, reports, and implementation documentation.
- Coordinate training schedules, follow-ups, and internal program activities.
- Stay updated on developments and best practices in special and inclusive education.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong understanding of IEPs, educational assessments, and intervention strategies.
- Excellent training, presentation, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Solid content development and documentation abilities.
- Comfortable working with digital tools and remote teams.
- Self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage timelines independently.
- Passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for CWSN.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education.
- Valid RCI Registration is mandatory.
- 1–2+ years of relevant experience in special education, educator training, academic support, curriculum/content development, or related roles.
- Experience in conducting teacher training/workshops is preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Hindi/regional languages are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, video-conferencing platforms, and other digital tools.
- Strong content writing, documentation, and resource development skills.
- Must have a laptop, reliable high-speed internet, and a suitable work-from-home setup.
