Role Description The Academic Coordinator and Teachers will hold full-time, on-site positions based in Sirsa.
The Academic
Coordinator will oversee curriculum planning, academic scheduling, and implementation of Cambridge-aligned teaching standards, while supporting teachers through mentoring, lesson planning guidance, and monitoring classroom performance and assessment practices. Teachers will design and deliver engaging lessons, maintain lesson plans and records, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback aligned with the school’s academic policies. Both roles will collaborate with colleagues on co-curricular activities, participate in parent meetings and school events, and contribute to a positive,
safe, and inclusive learning workplace. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining classroom discipline, integrating appropriate educational technology, and adhering to school policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to plan and deliver structured lessons aligned to Cambridge curricula.
- Experience in academic coordination or leadership, including curriculum planning, teacher support, and monitoring academic outcomes.
- Proficiency in English communication (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and colleagues.
- Comfort with educational technology and digital tools for lesson delivery, assessment, and record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and promote an inclusive, respectful school culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject field; a B.Ed., teaching certification, or Cambridge-specific training is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching in an international or Cambridge-affiliated school is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
