Acveti is looking for an experienced SAS AML Developer / Build & Development Engineer to join our technology team and work on AML and regulatory technology initiatives within the banking and financial services domain.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SAS AML, SAS Viya, SAS programming, SQL, and Python, with a proven ability to develop, enhance, implement, and support AML monitoring solutions in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, enhance, and support applications across the SAS Platform and SAS Viya.
- Configure, develop, and maintain SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) 7.2+ solutions, including transaction monitoring scenarios, alert generation, workflows, and reporting.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, ETL processes, and data integration workflows.
- Develop Python-based scripts and utilities to automate operational processes and improve efficiency.
- Translate business, regulatory, and compliance requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing, support SIT/UAT, resolve defects, and manage production deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and perform performance and code optimization.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Business, Data Warehouse, Infrastructure, Dev Ops, and Vendor teamsthroughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, deployment guides, and implementation artifacts.
- Support change management, release management,



and application governance activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in software development, implementation, and application support.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAS Platform and SAS Viya.
- Proven experience working with SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Solutions, version 7.2 or above.
- Strong programming skills in SAS, SQL, and Python.
- Experience with ETL development, data analysis, data migration, and database design.
- Good understanding of AML concepts, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk scoring, and regulatory compliance.
- Solid experience in debugging, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Banking / Financial Services environments.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
- Exposure to CI/CD, Git, Dev Ops, and release management.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Nice to Have

- Experience with SAS Model Manager or SAS Intelligent Decisioning.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and containerized deployments.
- Experience supporting audit, compliance, and regulatory technology initiatives within banking environments.
