Description
Role: Software Asset Management (ITAM) Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Software Asset Management (SAM/ITAM) processes and tools.
Manage software licenses, entitlements, contracts, installations, and usage data.
Ensure software asset data is accurate, complete, and compliant.
Track license compliance, optimize software usage, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Establish and enforce ITAM/SAM governance, policies, and standards.
Support audits, reporting, renewals, and vendor management activities.
Essential Skills:
Software Asset Management / IT Asset Management (SAM/ITAM)
Software license management and compliance
Asset discovery, reconciliation, and reporting
ITAM governance and process management
Experience with tools such as ServiceNow SAM Pro or similar platforms
Desirable Skills:
Windows Server Administration
Azure Administration
Experience supporting Splunk installation projects
Knowledge of major software vendor licensing models
