We work closely with clients to shape how their expertise is communicated and perceived online, creating content that feels thoughtful, specific, and true to how they naturally communicate.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Video Editor to join Overflow and work across Reels, podcasts and long-form video content.

You’ll be responsible for taking raw footage and turning it into polished, engaging content. You’ll work closely with the team on editing, pacing, storytelling, captions, sound and overall presentation.

This is a hybrid role based in Chennai. Most work will be remote, with occasional in-person meetings, shoots and outings.





The first 2 months will be a probation period at ₹14,000/month, after which compensation will be revised based on performance and fit.

Qualifications:

- 1+ year of video editing experience
- Experience editing Reels, podcasts and long-form content
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling and visual flow
- Comfortable using skilled editing software beyond CapCut
- Experience with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or similar tools
- Good understanding of audio, captions and basic colour correction
- Able to work independently and take feedback
- Based in Chennai
- Own laptop/system suitable for video editing
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating your work
