Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at WebSolGuru.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into polished content for marketing campaigns, product demos, tutorials, social media, and internal communications. Day-to-day tasks include organizing footage, trimming and assembling sequences, adding transitions, titles, and effects, synchronizing audio, and optimizing videos for various platforms and formats.



The role involves close collaboration with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

The Video

Editor will also contribute creative ideas, maintain consistent quality standards, and manage multiple projects within deadlines.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in Video Production and Video Editing for creating professional, engaging video content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency, mood, and brand-aligned aesthetics.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to design dynamic titles, lower-thirds, overlays, and visual elements.
- Ability to work with common video editing and motion design tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar).
- Solid understanding of audio editing, basic sound design, and exporting formats optimized for web and social platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, product).
- Relevant education in film, multimedia, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; a portfolio or showreel showcasing previous video work is required.
