Job description: Chartered Accountant – Team Lead (NBFC Treasury, Accounting & Tax) • Lead and oversee day-to-day accounting and treasury operations for the client’s finance team. • Manage accounting for financial instruments (investments, debt, derivatives, mutual funds, AIFs, etc.) including recognition, measurement, and disclosures as per Ind AS/AS. • Oversee cash and liquidity reporting, bank reconciliations, and treasury MIS (daily/weekly/monthly). • Coordinate with banks, custodians, depositories, and brokers for settlements, confirmations, and reconciliations. • Support ALM-related data preparation and regulatory reporting inputs (RBI/SEBI as applicable). • Ensure robust internal controls, audit trails, and documentation for treasury transactions. • Oversee taxation compliance: TDS, GST, and related direct/indirect tax matters. • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and concurrent audit preparations; respond to auditor queries. • Work primarily on Oracle Financials (GL, AP/AR, Cash Management) and ensure data integrity.
Chartered Accountant – Audit, Accounting & Taxation (Long-Term Role with AMJain)
• Lead and execute statutory audits, internal audits, and concurrent audits across clients (including NBFCs, financial services, and corporates). • Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, and audit reports in line with Ind AS/AS and applicable regulations. • Handle taxation compliance: • Direct tax: TDS, advance tax, return filings, assessments, and liaison with authorities. • Indirect tax: GST reconciliations, return filings, and related compliances. • Oversee and review accounting work: finalization of books, month-end/quarter-end close, reconciliations, and adjustments. • Mentor semi-qualified CAs and junior staff; ensure quality control and timely delivery of assignments. • Interact with clients, understand their business, and provide advisory support on accounting and tax matters. • Contribute to firm initiatives, process improvements, and knowledge building.
Semi-Qualified CA – Accountant (Finance, Tax & Audit Support) • Execute journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and month-end close activities. • Assist in treasury accounting: bank reconciliations, payment processing support, and transaction documentation.
• Support accounting for investments and financial instruments (booking, interest accruals, redemptions, etc.). • Assist in taxation compliance: TDS workings, GST reconciliations, and supporting documentation for returns. • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and concurrent audit preparations (schedule preparation, vouching, working papers). • Prepare and validate MIS packs, ledger reconciliations, and schedule workings for review. • Coordinate with operations, custodians, and brokers for statement reconciliations and query resolution. • Work on Oracle Financials for GL, AP/AR, and Cash Management modules (training provided if needed). • Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience • CA (ICAI) with 3–4 years of post-qualification experience. • Domain expertise: Treasury operations and accounting for financial instruments in an NBFC, bank, AMC, wealth management, or financial services setup. • Hands-on experience in taxation (direct & indirect) compliance in an NBFC/financial services workplace. • Familiarity with Oracle Financials is preferred. • CA Inter/CA Final (Semi-Qualified) with articleship completed or in final stages. • 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance/tax/audit, preferably in NBFC, financial services, or wealth management. • Strong accounting fundamentals; exposure to financial instruments and taxation is a plus. • Familiarity with Oracle Financials is preferred (not mandatory).
