Job Description: Network Engineer / Network Lead (L2 Managed Services) Location Malad / Goregaon, Mumbai Experience Required 8 Years Immediate Joiners Only Work Mode Work From Office (5 Days a Week) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer / Network Lead (L2) to manage and support enterprise network infrastructure across multi-site environments.

The role involves providing advanced network operations support, incident management, troubleshooting, monitoring, change implementation, stakeholder coordination, and governance activities for LAN, WAN, WLAN, Security, SD-WAN, and Cloud connectivity environments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on expertise in routing, switching, wireless, network security, enterprise troubleshooting, network monitoring, and ITSM-driven service delivery.

Key Responsibilities Network Operations & Support Provide L2/L2 operational support for Enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, Internet, VPN, Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancers, DNS/DHCP, Routing, Switching, and Remote Access environments.

Manage network incidents from identification through resolution while ensuring SLA compliance.

Act as an escalation point for Service Desk, NOC, and Operations teams.

Perform advanced troubleshooting of: Routing and Switching issues Latency and Packet Loss issues Bandwidth congestion Link flapping Internet and WAN connectivity issues Wireless and VPN connectivity issues Network Configuration & Administration Configure and troubleshoot: VLANs Trunking STP/RSTP Ether

Channel Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP) IP Addressing DHCP DNS NAT ACLs Support MPLS, SD-WAN, Leased Lines, Internet Circuits, Broadband, and Data Center connectivity.

Security & Firewall Management Manage and troubleshoot Firewall, VPN,



and Security-related connectivity issues.

Support Firewall rule implementation and validation.

Troubleshoot: IPSec VPN SSL VPN NAT ACLs Access Control issues Ensure compliance with security policies and organizational standards.

Wireless Infrastructure Support Support enterprise Wireless LAN deployments and operations.

Troubleshoot: Access Points Wireless Controllers WLAN Authentication Roaming Issues Coverage & Performance Issues Coordinate Wi-Fi deployment and site implementation activities.

Monitoring & Performance Management Monitor network health using enterprise monitoring tools.

Analyze: Bandwidth utilization Interface performance Device health Availability metrics Capacity trends Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.

Change & Incident Management Execute network changes following ITIL processes.

Prepare: Method of Procedure (MOP) Risk Assessment Rollback Plans Validation Reports Participate in major incident management and post-incident reviews.

Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for recurring incidents.

Documentation & Governance Maintain: Network Diagrams IP Address Records Device Inventory SOPs Troubleshooting Guides Configuration Backups Prepare operational reports and management dashboards.

Participate in service review and governance meetings.

Technical Requirements Networking Technologies Strong understanding of:



TCP/IP VLAN STP / RSTP OSPF BGP QoS DHCP DNS NAT ACL SNMP Syslog VPN Technologies Routing & Switching Hands-on experience with enterprise routing and switching environments.

Strong troubleshooting skills in LAN/WAN technologies.

Wireless Technologies Experience managing enterprise WLAN solutions.

Understanding of wireless authentication and controller-based environments.

Security Technologies Experience with: Fortinet Palo Alto Check Point Cisco Security Solutions Zscaler Monitoring & Management Tools Hands-on experience with: Solar

Winds PRTG Zabbix Network Monitoring Platforms Configuration Backup Tools Load Balancing & SD-WAN (Preferred) Experience with: F5 Load Balancers SD-WAN Solutions Cloud Connectivity Required Skills Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Excellent incident and problem management capabilities.

Experience in stakeholder and vendor coordination.

Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Knowledge of ITIL processes and service management best practices.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Experience Multi-site enterprise network support.

Data Center and Cloud connectivity management. ISP and Carrier coordination.

Network transformation and migration projects.

Managed Services environment experience.

Service Delivery and Operations Governance exposure.

Educational Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

Relevant certifications such as: CCNA / CCNP Fortinet NSE Palo Alto Certifications Aruba Certifications ITIL Foundation (Preferred)
