Job Description:

Position: Production Supervisor

Location: Daman

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Industries: Packaging

Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily production activities and ensure achievement of production targets and schedules.
- Manage and allocate manpower across production lines and shifts.
- Monitor packaging production processes, machines, output, and material consumption.
- Operate and supervise Extrusion Machines and ensure proper machine parameters are maintained.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdowns and troubleshooting.
- Control rejection, wastage, downtime, and material losses.
- Ensure products are manufactured as per quality specifications and SOPs.
- Conduct regular production-floor inspections and resolve process-related issues.
- Maintain production records, shift reports, machine logs, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, PPC, and Dispatch departments.
- Ensure proper implementation of 5S, safety, GMP/standard operating procedures, and housekeeping practices.




- Train and guide operators and production workers on machines, processes, and safety.
- Monitor production efficiency and identify opportunities for productivity improvement.
- Report production performance, breakdowns, quality issues, and operational challenges to the Production Manager.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Packaging Manufacturing and Production Processes.
- Hands-on experience with Extrusion Machines will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of machine setup, process parameters, and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong manpower handling and shift management skills.
- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and safety practices.
- Positive problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Required Qualification: -Any Graduation

Salary :- Upto 3.50 LPA
