- Plan and deliver engaging French language lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum.
n
- Teach French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and conversation.
n
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, activities, projects, and other teaching resources.
n
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress through tests, assignments, projects, and oral activities.
n
- Provide constructive feedback and additional support to students who need it.
n
- Create a positive, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment.
n
- Use technology, multimedia, and innovative teaching methods to enhance language learning.
n
- Introduce students to French-speaking cultures, history, literature, and traditions.
n
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
n
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress when required.
n
- Collaborate with other teachers and participate in meetings, school events, and professional-development activities.
n
- Prepare students for French proficiency examinations such as DELF, where applicable.
n
- Support extracurricular activities, language clubs, cultural events, and French-related competitions.

Required Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in French, Education, Foreign Languages, or a related field.
n
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written French.




n
- Relevant teaching qualification/certification, where required.
n
- Prior experience teaching French is preferred.
n
- Knowledge of modern language-teaching methodologies.
n
- Good command of English for explaining concepts to students, where applicable.
n
- Strong classroom-management and organizational skills.
n
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
n

Preferred Qualifications

- DELF/DALF certification, preferably B2 or above.
n
- FLE (Français Langue Étrangère) certification or relevant language-teaching qualification.
n
- Experience preparing students for DELF/TEF/TCF examinations.
n
- Experience in an international, CBSE, similar school setting, depending on the institution.
