Role Description The Staff Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based at the Be Well Hospitals facility in Ayanavaram.
The Staff
Nurse will provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, assisting with procedures, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care,
and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and infection control standards. The role also involves supporting emergency and multispeciality services, participating in shift duties, and contributing to a safe, respectful, and patient-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing qualification (GNM, B.Sc Nursing,) and current registration with the appropriate nursing council.
- Solid clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, basic life support, and routine nursing procedures.
- Ability to follow hospital policies, infection control practices, and safety standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and counsel patients and families.
- Capability to manage shift work, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records using hospital information systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, non-discriminatory, and patient-centered care.
- Prior experience in emergency, medical-surgical, or multispeciality wards is an advantage.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training, skill development, and quality improvement initiatives.
