About The Role

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will design software solutions spanning multiple systems, mentor team members, and collaborate with our users to translate needs into effective solutions. We support flexibility and offer necessary accommodations to empower everyone's success.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with technical colleagues and cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to and review detailed specifications for complex systems and components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Promote and implement best practices in development processes, including code reviews.
- Participate in a variety of development environments (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), working flexibly with stakeholders.
- Mentor and support early-career engineers, sharing knowledge and promoting growth.




- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry developments to support our team's ongoing learning.
- Design and work with complex data models, optimizing for diverse use cases and needs.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as part of a dynamic, evolving team.

Requirements

- Extensive hands-on software engineering experience, with proficiency in multiple development methodologies (such as Agile and Waterfall).
- Strong skills in data manipulation and optimization, with experience in data modeling (normalized/dimensional) and various data storage systems.
- Expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot/Rest API, and Angular 12+ (or similar frameworks), with experience in both backend (approx. 60%) and frontend (approx. 40%) development.
- Commitment to best practices, including test-driven development and code review.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Interest in mentoring and supporting the development of others.
