Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sports Head to lead and manage the overall sports and physical education activities of the school. The candidate will be responsible for developing sports programs, managing coaches and sports facilities, organizing competitions, and encouraging students to participate in various sporting activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement the school's overall sports and physical education program.
- Plan and supervise regular sports activities, training sessions, tournaments, and competitions.
- Manage and coordinate sports coaches, physical education teachers, and support staff.
- Identify and nurture talented students and provide opportunities for competitive sports.
- Prepare annual sports calendars, training schedules, and event plans.
- Organize Annual Sports Day, inter-house competitions, inter-school competitions, and other sporting events.
- Coordinate student participation in district, state, and national-level competitions.
- Monitor students' performance and maintain proper records of achievements and participation.
- Ensure proper maintenance, availability, and utilization of sports equipment, grounds, courts, and other facilities.
- Prepare and manage the sports equipment and facility requirements in coordination with the school administration.
- Ensure that all sports activities are conducted with appropriate safety measures and discipline.
- Coordinate with parents, teachers, school management, and external sports organizations when required.
- Develop fitness, physical training, and skill-development programs for students.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, leadership,



and a healthy competitive spirit among students.
- Monitor the performance of sports coaches and provide guidance and feedback.
- Maintain records of sports inventory, student participation, competition results, and achievements.
- Prepare periodic reports on sports activities and student performance for the school management.
- Explore opportunities for sports scholarships, professional coaching, tournaments, and external collaborations.
- Stay updated with current sports trends, training methodologies, and competition opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education / Sports Management / a related field.
- B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed qualification will be preferred.
- Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in school sports, sports academies, or educational institutions.
- Prior experience in a leadership or sports management role will be preferred.
- Experience in organizing inter-school, district, state, or national-level competitions will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
