Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Marketing (SMM) Intern to support our digital marketing and social media team. This role is ideal for someone who wants practical exposure to social media management, content creation, audience engagement, social media strategy, and brand growth across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with managing social media accounts across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X
- Assist in planning and maintaining social media content calendars
- Research trending topics, hashtags, content formats, and industry trends
- Assist with creating engaging social media content, captions, and post ideas
- Coordinate with the creative team for social media posts, reels, and other visual content
- Schedule and publish social media content as per the content calendar
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and audience engagement
- Assist with community management and maintaining a positive brand presence
- Research competitors and analyze their social media strategies
- Track social media performance and assist in preparing reports
- Monitor key metrics such as reach, engagement, followers, and impressions
- Assist with social media campaigns and promotional activities




- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
- Support the SMM team with day-to-day social media and digital marketing activities

Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of social media trends and content formats
- Creative mindset with an ability to generate new content ideas
- Good research and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with Google Sheets/Excel
- Basic knowledge of Canva or other content creation tools is a plus
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
