Junior Architect

Full time · Office near Auroville, Pondicherry · 1–2 years preferred; strong new graduates considered

Nurall is a premium, wellness-led villa and hospitality developer working in and around Auroville and Pondicherry. We design, build and operate a small number of carefully made places — private villas, boutique stays and wellness spaces — at a genuinely high finish standard, in a small team where an architect owns real scope from month one. This role involves site work we love to design and build luxury wellness spaces including villas, resorts and cafes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Conceptual design — develop plans, massing and spatial layouts for villas and hospitality projects from the design lead's brief; explore and present options.

- Working and GFC drawings — produce clean, dimensioned, buildable sets: plans, sections, elevations and details for joinery, stone, wet areas, staircases, railings and ceilings.

- 3D and visualisation — model in SketchUp or Revit and produce renders and material boards for design review, client presentations and marketing.

- Site coordination — regular site visits to check setting-out and finish quality against approved samples, resolve contractor queries,



run snag lists and record site changes into as-builts.

- Technical coordination — reconcile structural and MEP drawings against architectural intent and flag clashes early; support measurement, quantities and approval drawing sets.

- Documentation — maintain drawing registers and revision control, photo-document progress, and issue concise weekly updates to the project team.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- B.Arch from a COA-recognised institution; COA registration held or in progress.
n
- 1–2 years in architectural practice with real project exposure. Strong new graduates will be considered where internship or thesis work shows substantial site involvement or execution drawings — tell us what you actually built.

- AutoCAD to a working professional standard, plus SketchUp and rendering (V-Ray, Enscape, Lumion or similar). Revit and Photoshop/InDesign are an advantage.

- Able to read and interpret structural and MEP drawings; comfortable on an active construction site.
n
- Detail-obsessed, organised, and willing to learn from masons and carpenters who have done it for thirty years.
