India's critical digital infrastructure needs database technologies that combine enterprise-grade performance with security, scalability and technological sovereignty.

ShaktiDB is IITM Pravartak's indigenous, PostgreSQL-based enterprise database platform, built for government, financial services and other mission-critical environments.

The technology is ready. The opportunity now is to take it to scale.

We are looking for a Business Development Director who can lead that journey - build the market, open doors, create strategic relationships and, most importantly, win significant enterprise and government customers.

It is an opportunity to help build an Indian enterprise technology platform with the potential for large-scale adoption across businesses and government - backed by the technology and innovation ecosystem of IITM Pravartak, the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Madras.

Who we are looking for

Someone who has:

n

n
- A strong track record of winning large enterprise technology / solution deals
n
- The ability to engage CXOs, technology leaders and senior government stakeholders
n
- Experience in databases, infrastructure, cloud or enterprise software - highly relevant
n
- Government / PSU sales experience - a strong advantage
n
- A highly collaborative style and strong achievement orientation
n
- The entrepreneurial drive to build a business, not merely manage a sales function
n

And importantly, someone for whom building a technology of national significance is itself a reason to take up the challenge.
