Job Description - Bodyshop Advisor (Automobile Industry)

Position: Bodyshop Advisor
Department: Bodyshop / Accident Repair
Industry: Automobile (Passenger Vehicles)

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and inspect accidental/damaged vehicles.
- Prepare job cards with detailed description of damages.
- Coordinate with insurance surveyors for claim processing and approvals.
- Provide repair estimates, explain repair process, cost, and timelines to customers.
- Liaise with bodyshop technicians for denting, painting, and structural repairs.
- Monitor repair progress and ensure timely delivery of vehicles.
- Ensure proper documentation for insurance claims and cash repairs.
- Communicate regularly with customers regarding repair status updates.
- Conduct final inspection before vehicle delivery.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.




- Promote additional repair or detailing services when required.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/ITI in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in Bodyshop/Accident Repair department.
- Knowledge of insurance claim procedures and survey coordination.
- Understanding of denting, painting, and structural repair processes.
- Basic computer knowledge (DMS/Insurance portal handling).
