You will bridge software engineering directly withRF hardware design implementing low-level drivers for attenuators, equalizers, and AGC algorithms, leading board bring-up, andmanaging wireless telemetry via LoRaWAN. You will collaborate dailywith US-based hardware, RF, and firmware teams to bring complexhardware platforms tolife.HowYou'll Help Us Connect the World:ARM System Architecture & Firmware:Design, architect, and optimize low-level firmware for ARM Cortex-M/ Cortex-A microcontrollers and microprocessors operating onReal-Time Operating Systems (RTOS, e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) orbare-metal environments.RF Control &Signal; Processing Algorithms: Implement and fine-tune dynamicsoftware algorithms for Automatic Gain Control (AGC), AutomaticLevel Control (ALC), tilt compensation, digital attenuators, andequalizers in RF gain stages.HardwareCo-Design & Schematics: Collaborate closely with hardware andRF design teams. Read and interpret schematics and block diagramsto guide pinouts, power domain management, and peripheralrouting.Low-Level Peripheral Drivers: Writerobust, efficient drivers over I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO interfacesto program RF chips, sensors, power monitors,

and dynamic gainstages.LoRaWAN & Wireless Connectivity:Design, integrate, and maintain LoRaWAN stacks and applicationlayers for remote, out-of-band monitoring and long-range, low-powerfield telemetry.Board Bring-Up & Bring-UpDebugging: Lead initial board bring-up on custom prototype PCBs.Perform hardware/software co-debugging using toolchains like Keil,GDB, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and RF spectrumanalyzers.Memory & PerformanceOptimization: Architect system memory maps, write lean executioncode, manage heap/stack usage, and ensure strict real-timedeterministic execution.Development Workflows& Tooling: Drive software quality using modern version control(Git / GitHub) and project management frameworks(Jira). RequiredQualifications for Consideration:Include demonstrated competencies andphysical, mental, & interpersonalskills.Education: Bachelor’sor master’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, orequivalentexperience.Experience:Preferably 8+ years of total embedded software engineeringexperience, with a proven track record as atechnical lead or StaffEngineer.ARM Architecture &C;/C++: Deep expertise in ARM Cortex architecture,assembly/registers, linker scripts, memory management, and advancedC and C++ programming.RTOS & Bare-Metal:Expert knowledge of Real-Time Operating Systems(FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or similar)

and bare-metal firmwarearchitectures.RFHardware Control: Practical knowledge of RFconcepts and components (attenuators, equalizers, power amplifiers)and hands-on implementation of AGCalgorithms.LoRaWANIntegration: Hands-on experience implementingLoRaWAN protocols/stacks and managing sub-GHz wireless transceivermodules.Hardware Literacy & Lab Debugging:Ability to read schematics, understand component data sheets, anduse hardware debugging tools (Keil, GDB, JTAG/SWD, Logic Analyzers,Spectrum Analyzers).Cross-FunctionalCollaboration: Demonstrated capability to partner effectively withUS-based software, hardware and RF engineers for co-design, boardbring-up, and systemvalidation.YouWill Excite Us If You Have:Knowledge of network management andstreaming telemetry protocols: SNMP, gNMI, gRPC,Protobuf, or MQTT.Familiaritywith CableLabs standards (DOCSIS 3.1, DOCSIS 4.0FDX/ESD) or smart RF amplifierspecifications.Experiencewith CLI (Command Line Interface)development for on-board local field techniciantools.Experience designing secure bootloadersand FOTA (FirmwareOver-The-Air) update engines over LoRaWAN orserialinterfaces.
