We have an immediate chance for you as Fund Accountant Legal Entities or Hedge Fund Accounting - Hyderabad.

Shift Timings : 2:00 PM IST to 11:00 PM IST

Work Mode : Hybrid

Title : Senior Fund Accountant to AM - IC Role

n

The Entity Accountant will be responsible for the project to load deals to Geneva World Investor in preparation of books and records.

n

Responsibilities include:

n

Preparing and maintaining the books and records, for U.S. reporting purposes, of various types of legal entities organized under various jurisdictions;

n

Accounting for inter-entity transactions;

n

Monitoring the movements of cash within the deal and fund structures;

n

Calculating allocations of income and expenses up to the different classes of limited partners of the private partnership investing funds; and

n

Working with Fund Accountants to reconcile differences between private partnership investing funds and their legal entities.

Required Experience

n

Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in accounting; CPA preferred;

n

5+ years of accounting experience within the financial services industry preferred, but not required;

n

Strong appreciation for the importance of investment structures and the maintenance of their books and records;

n

Strong knowledge of reconciliation and account analysis;

n

Excellent understanding of accounting and the ability to apply relevant company accounting rules;

n

Solid analytical skills and ability to understand and resolve complex problems;

n

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; and

n

Experience with Geneva World Investor desirable.
