Role Overview

n

Assets Roster is looking for a hands-on Chartered Accountant to independently manage Fixed Asset Management projects from planning to final closure.

n

The role involves managing Physical Verification and Tagging teams, mapping physical assets with the Fixed Asset Register, reconciliation, exception analysis, client coordination and final management reporting.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage Fixed Asset Management assignments from project initiation to closure.
n
- Plan project timelines, manpower deployment and location-wise execution.
n
- Lead and supervise Physical Verification and Asset Tagging teams.
n
- Conduct daily team briefings and monitor productivity, quality and timelines.
n
- Review the client's Fixed Asset Register and identify data gaps.
n
- Manage Books-to-Floor and Floor-to-Books verification.
n
- Map physically verified assets with FAR records.
n
- Reconcile asset quantities, values, locations and tag numbers.
n
- Analyse exceptions such as:
n
- FAR assets not physically found
n
- Physical assets not recorded in the FAR
n
- Location mismatches
n
- Scrap, damaged, obsolete or idle assets
n
- Duplicate or missing asset tags
n
- Coordinate with the client's Finance, Administration, IT, Engineering and Operations teams.
n
- Review project data,



supporting photographs and tagging records for accuracy.
n
- Prepare updated FARs, exception reports, reconciliation summaries and management presentations.
n
- Present project findings and recommendations to the client's senior management.
n
- Ensure timely client sign-off and formal closure of the assignment.
n

Candidate Profile

n

n
- Qualified Chartered Accountant.
n
- 2–5 years of experience in audit, fixed assets, internal controls, reconciliation or project management.
n
- Strong knowledge of fixed asset accounting and Ind AS 16.
n
- Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills.
n
- Strong team-management and client-handling capabilities.
n
- Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple locations.
n
- Willingness to travel and stay at client locations when required.
n

Preferred Experience

n

Experience in Physical Verification, FAR preparation, Fixed Asset Reconciliation, Internal Audit, ERP systems or multi-location project execution will be preferred.

n
