Job Description
The Migration Company (TMC) is looking for a passionate and experienced German Language Trainer to deliver structured German language training to nursing students as part of a long-term A1–B2 German language program.

The ideal candidate should have strong German language proficiency, classroom teaching experience, and an interest in preparing students for academic, professional, and healthcare communication in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver structured German language training from A1 to B2 for nursing students.
n
- Conduct engaging and interactive in-person classroom sessions for college-level learners.
n
- Build learners' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through practical and communicative activities.
n
- Gradually introduce healthcare- and nursing-related German vocabulary and communication relevant to students' future professional environments.
n
- Prepare and adapt lesson plans, learning materials, classroom activities, assignments, and assessments aligned with the A1–B2 learning journey.
n
- Facilitate self-paced learning through practice exercises, assignments, quizzes, and other learner activities.
n
- Provide regular individual feedback and academic support to help students improve their language proficiency.
n
- Monitor and maintain records of attendance, participation, assessments, and learner progress.
n
- Conduct regular evaluations and support learners in preparing for relevant German language examinations.
n
- Support students in developing confidence in everyday German, academic communication, and future healthcare workplace interactions.
n
- Collaborate with TMC's academic and operations teams to ensure consistency, quality, and achievement of learning outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
n
Candidates should have:
n
n
- C1/C2-level German proficiency or certification from a recognized institution.
n
- A Master's degree in German, German Language, German Studies, or a relevant field will be an advantage.
n
- Demonstrated experience in teaching German as a foreign language, preferably to adult or college-level learners.
n
- Prior experience teaching nursing students or healthcare professionals will be highly preferred.
n
- Solid command of spoken and written German, with the ability to explain grammar and language concepts clearly.
n
- Familiarity with Goethe, TELC, ÖSD, or other recognized German language examination frameworks is an advantage.
n
- Ability to develop and deliver structured, learner-focused classroom sessions.
n

Experience in German for healthcare / nursing, preparation of students for Germany, or German examination preparation will be considered a strong advantage.
