We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee the school’s accounting, financial reporting, and taxation functions. The candidate should have strong practical knowledge of accounting, statutory compliance, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, receipts, payments, ledgers and bank reconciliations.
- Handle GST, TDS, income tax and other applicable statutory compliances, including timely filings and documentation.
- Manage vendor payments, fee accounting, payroll-related accounting and expense records.
- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, cash-flow statements and periodic financial reports for management.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants,



banks, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.
- Assist management with financial analysis, controls and decision-making.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting; CA Inter/CA experience will be an advantage.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school, educational institution or similar organization.
- Robust working knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, GST, TDS and Income Tax.
- Good understanding of statutory compliance and accounting practices.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail.
