What Youll Be Doing (position summary):

As an Account Processing Officer within our Operations team, you'll play a vital role in supporting client account transfers by coordinating with external firms and stakeholders. You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end transfer process, ensuring timely and accurate communication regarding account statuses. Your day will involve making outbound telephone calls and sending emails to external firms to follow up on transfer requests, resolve outstanding issues, and provide updates to internal partners. You'll use your attention to detail and organizational skills to track progress, escalate delays, and maintain thorough records. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building cooperative relationships across organizations.

- Client Account Transfer Management Coordinate and monitor the progress of client account transfers, ensuring all requests are processed efficiently and accurately.
- External Communication Initiate and respond to telephone calls and emails with external firms to obtain status updates, resolve issues, and ensure timely completion of transfer requests.
- Issue Resolution Identify and troubleshoot any delays or discrepancies in the transfer process, escalating complex cases to the appropriate internal teams as needed.
- Documentation & Tracking Maintain comprehensive records of all communications and actions taken, ensuring compliance with CIBC policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration Work closely with internal partners to provide updates, share information, and support the resolution of transfer-related inquiries.
