Position Summary:
- This role provides regional leadership for the Cyber Security Engineering team in India, serving as the regional manager for security architecture and engineering topics in India, leading a hybrid team consisting of both direct reports and dotted-line resources aligned to global engineering functions.
- You will oversee the company's security posture and ensure local operations align with global policy and standards. The ideal candidate leverages deep industry experience to deliver actionable security improvements and strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a matrixed regional team, including direct reports and functional (dotted-line) team members aligned to global security engineering, architecture, and operations teams; provide prioritization, coaching, performance input, and regional coordinations.
- Partner with global functional leaders to ensure cybersecurity initiatives are implemented effectively within the region,
coordinating priorities and delivery across matrixed and dotted-line teams.
- Serve as the primary Architecture and Engineering cybersecurity point of contact for regional business leaders and IT/OT stakeholders.
- Develop a plan, gain approval, and Support regional response activities needed for the Architecture and Engineering function, including incident, change, and request processes ensuring timely coordination with proper stakeholders.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively across region, ensuring teams are staffed based on business and function priorities.
- Actively collaborate with the Director of Architecture and Engineering, Architects, Leads, and manager, to ensure consistency in global, and regional priorities, standards, policies, controls, and strategies.
