Position Summary:

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the operational stability, security, lifecycle management and continuous improvement of Visys Windows Server and hybrid identity infrastructure.

The role provides technical leadership across Active Directory, Windows Server, Entra ID and supporting infrastructure platforms, ensuring services remain secure, scalable and aligned with business requirements.

The role leads infrastructure initiatives including security uplift programs, platform modernisation, lifecycle management and end-of-support migrations. The engineer works closely with application, security, service provider and business teams to provide technical guidance, resolve complex issues and drive continuous improvement.

The position also supports team capability development through mentoring, knowledge sharing and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own the operational performance, security and lifecycle management of Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Administer and maintain hybrid identity services, including Active Directory,



Entra ID and directory synchronisation.
- Provide Level 3 support and technical leadership for complex infrastructure and identity-related issues.
- Lead infrastructure projects including platform upgrades, security remediation and end-of-support migrations.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardisation and operational best practices.
- Identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities in collaboration with Cyber Security and technology teams.
- Support Azure and VMware platforms to ensure availability, performance and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation and support processes.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to team capability development.
- Ensure compliance with Visy security, governance and change management requirements.
