Role Description

n

The selected professionals will be responsible for creating, developing, coordinating, and updating BIM models for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire-protection systems based on project drawings, specifications, BIM Execution Plans, and client requirements.

n

Responsibilities will vary according to the candidate's experience and position and may include:

n

n




- Develop accurate and coordinated MEPF models using Autodesk Revit.
n
- Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, sections, schedules, details, and construction documentation.
n
- Coordinate MEPF services with architectural, structural, and other building systems.
n
- Perform clash detection, model reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination using Revit and Navisworks Manage.
n
- Identify and resolve constructability, clearance, and coordination issues.
n
- Maintain model accuracy, naming conventions, LOD requirements, and project BIM standards.
n
- Review design drawings, construction documents, specifications, and client comments.
n
- Participate in internal reviews, client coordination meetings, and technical discussions.
n
- Coordinate with BIM Managers, Project Leads, engineers, architects, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
n
- Complete assigned deliverables according to project schedules and quality requirements.

Additional Responsibilities for Senior BIM Modelers and BIM Coordinators

n

n
- Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash-resolution activities.
n
- Review models and drawings prepared by team members.
n
- Conduct quality checks before internal and client submissions.
n
- Coordinate technical requirements with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
n




- Guide junior team members and support their technical development.
n
- Monitor assigned tasks, project priorities, and delivery schedules.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
n
- 1–6 years of relevant experience in MEPF BIM modeling or coordination within the AEC industry.
n
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
n
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire-protection systems.
n
- Ability to interpret architectural, structural, MEPF, and construction drawings.
n
- Knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection, shop drawings, LOD requirements, and construction documentation.
n
- Strong spatial understanding, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
n
- Good communication, coordination, collaboration, and documentation skills.
n
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360 will be an advantage.
n
- Experience working on USA or other international projects will be preferred.
n
- Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad or Chennai and adapt to project schedules and delivery requirements.
