Role Description The Sales Manager role at Shriram Life Insurance is a full time, on-site position based in Cuttack.

The Sales

Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales plans, leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals, and driving business growth within the assigned region. Day-to-day activities include identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with customers and channel partners, monitoring sales performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves coordinating with internal stakeholders,



preparing sales reports, and contributing to strategic initiatives that enhance customer experience and market penetration.

Qualifications

- Strong sales and business development skills, including experience in target-driven environments and managing revenue growth.
- Team leadership and people management abilities, with experience in coaching, performance monitoring, and motivating sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain long-term customer and partner relationships.
- Analytical and planning capabilities, including proficiency in using data and reports to develop sales strategies and measure outcomes.
- Familiarity with insurance or financial services, including basic understanding of life insurance products and regulatory guidelines (preferred).
- Comfort with technology and digital tools for sales tracking, customer management, and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Cuttack, adapt to local market conditions, and travel within the region as needed.
