Role Summary

n

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy CA Industrial Trainee to join our Finance team.

n

In this role, you will be at the forefront of modern corporate finance—handling core accounting

n

operations while actively finding ways to automate manual workflows. You will combine solid

n

general finance principles with AI, advanced Excel, and automation tools to make our financial

n

operations leaner, faster, and more accurate.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

1. General Finance & Core Accounting

n

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate general

n

ledger (GL) entries and accounting treatment.

n

• Prepare key financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L;)

n

statements, and Cash Flow schedules.

n

n
- Support statutory compliance, tax filings, and routine accounting operations.
n
- Work closely with internal teams and external auditors to support audit readiness and
n

n

documentation.

n

2. Finance Automation & Process Optimization

n

• Identify manual, repetitive finance and accounting tasks (e.g., data entry, schedule

n

preparation, invoice processing) and automate them.

n

• Leverage AI tools, advanced Excel and automation software to build self-updating

n

reconciliation models and reporting templates.

n

• Partner with technology and finance leads to streamline data flow between accounting

n

software, databases, and operational systems.

n





• Design and document standard automated workflows to optimize day-to-day financial

n

operations.

n

3. Reconciliations & Internal Controls

n

• Perform regular bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations to identify

n

and resolve financial discrepancies promptly.

n

• Assist in evaluating, strengthening, and enforcing internal financial controls and

n

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

n

• Ensure data security, integrity, and structured backup across financial tools and

n

accounting databases.

n

Qualifications & Skills

n

n
- Educational Qualification: Passed both groups of CA Intermediate (ICAI).
n
- ICAI Eligibility: Eligible to commence CA Industrial Training as per ICAI guidelines.
n
- Automation & Tech Skills:
n
- Advanced expertise in MS Excel (Power Query, complex
n

n

formulas, dashboarding).

n

n
- Strong interest in or hands-on experience with AI tools, low-code automation
n

n

tools, or data processing.

n

n
- Exposure to ERP systems/accounting software.
n

n

• Core Finance Knowledge: Robust foundation in accounting concepts, internal controls,

n

financial reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.

n

• Soft Skills:



Clear communication skills, logical reasoning, and the ability to explain

n

technical or financial processes simply.

n

• Mindset: Proactive problem solver with a passion for eliminating manual effort through

n

smart technology.

n
