Marketing & Sales Intern — The Scholar's Loft

Location: Kolkata (6A Elgin Road, Bhawanipur) | Type: Full-time Internship (5 days a week) |Stipend: ₹15,000 Incentives

About Us-

The Scholar's Loft is a premium coaching centre in Kolkata specialising in international curricula (IB, CAIE, ISC, CBSE) along with AP, SAT, and IELTS test prep. We're a young, fast-growing brand looking for a proactive intern to support our founder across lead management, content, and outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Management & Query Handling

- Respond promptly to incoming leads from Meta ads and website/online enquiries
- Address preliminary queries from prospective students and parents
- Qualify and filter leads based on genuine interest and fit
- Pass on qualified leads to the founder for further discussion

Social Media & Content Support

- Collaborate with the marketing team on content ideation (videos, reels, carousels)




- Assist in execution of content shoots and campaigns
- Help expand TSL's reach and visibility within the education space

Outreach & Field Marketing

- Help organise outreach events involving the founder and faculty
- Reach out to potential partners — counselling firms, independent counsellors, and schools — to generate leads and partnerships
- Represent TSL professionally in external-facing interactions

Who We're Looking For

- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple threads at once
- Interest in the education/ed-tech space is a plus
- Prior experience in marketing, sales, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
