Role Description This is a full time, on-site Radio Operator role based in Kalyanpur.
The Radio
Operator will manage and operate radio communication equipment to ensure clear, reliable, and continuous communication across field sites and control rooms. Daily responsibilities include monitoring radio channels, logging and relaying messages, coordinating with field personnel and emergency response teams, and escalating critical information according to established protocols. The role also involves maintaining and testing communication equipment, reporting technical issues,
and supporting adherence to safety and security procedures.
The Radio
Operator will collaborate with operations and security teams, participate in drills and training sessions, and follow all organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Radio Communication and operating Radio equipment.
- Candidates should possess solid Communication skills for clear, timely, and accurate message handling.
- Candidates should possess relevant Military or security operations exposure to support disciplined and procedural communication.
- Candidates should possess Training experience or willingness to undergo structured training in communication protocols and emergency response.
- Experience in oil and gas, industrial operations, or field communications is beneficial.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions during critical situations.
- Familiarity with safety standards and emergency response procedures is an advantage.
- Minimum of a high school diploma; technical certification in radio operations or communications is preferred.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain digital logs and reports.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as operationally required.
