What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
The Developer is accountable for leading the design, integration, and deployment of Information Security application systems within CIBC The role acts as a technical lead and subject matter expert, building flexible and scalable solutions that enhance the Cyber Security experience and protect the bank The incumbent will collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver innovative solutions and provide Level 3 support for implemented systems.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
Technical Leadership and Solution Delivery:
- Act as technical lead and SME for the analysis and documentation of business requirements, estimation of work packages, and coordination of end-to-end implementation of security tools and technology solutions.
- Lead the design and development of cost-effective,
innovative solutions to meet business objectives and maintain existing applications.
- Ensure technical solutions meet quality standards and align with business and project requirements.
Application Integration and Programming:
- Perform and coordinate application integration activities, including design and development of scripts and code (eg, shell, Python, Ansible playbooks, API integrations).
- Test, debug, document, and adjust to ensure successful integration and implementation of vendor tools into the CIBC environment.
- Act as Level 3 support post-implementation, collaborating with the Application Operations team and tool vendors for issue resolution.
Mentoring and Collaboration:
- Mentor and coach less senior team members to build team capability.
- Lead solution review sessions and provide guidance during production and user acceptance testing.
