Reports to Sr Mgr CETC APAC
Minimal work experience: 2-5 years
Works together with: The CETC classification team and regional managers, Global Technology, other E2Es (P2D, P2C, S2P etc).
Responsibilities:
The Customs Support and Data Specialist is responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of customs-related data.
- Ensuring the maintenance of high-quality data standards, facilitating smooth international trade operations
- Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Providing support to the CETC team as the first point of contact for all customs queries where they will help to answer questions or direct them to the correct resource including but not limited to classification requests, intercompany approval requests, FTA questions and advisory questions.
- Working with CETC team members to ensure process documents are maintained.
- The Customs Support Clerk providesday-to-dayoperational support to the Customs,
Excise and Trade Compliance Team by triaging and housecleaning incoming requests,maintainingaccuraterecords, tracking requests to conclusion,support preparation of trackers, reports, and basic SLA/aging dashboardsandensuringdocumentation is complete, compliant, andauditready.
- This role is the backbone of queue hygiene,on timeresponse, and data quality across customs activities. In addition, the role serves as the first point of contact for customs queries where they will help to answer questions or direct them to the correct resource. This role contributes to the accuracy,integrityand compliance of customs related data and process documentation.
Required competencies and skills:
- 13 years of experience in customs, logistics, or data entry roles.
- Familiarity with customs data and regulatory requirements.
- Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management systems.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
