What Youll Be Doing (position summary):
The Senior Manager, Quality Engineer leads the Quality Engineering (QE) team within CIBCs Core Banking and Payments Technology group. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the system testing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs and organizational standards. The incumbent works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure productive planning and execution of testing activities aligned with project timelines and business objectives.

How Youll Succeed (responsibilities):
Testing Expertise:
- Experience writing test scripts, developing test plans, and end to end testing documentation.
- Experience leading a technology team, delivering results, and managing relationships with management enterprise wide.
- Ensure all testing activities comply with organizational policies,



industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present status reports, , and risk assessments to project leadership.

Automation Expertise:
- Experience with automation strategies, frameworks, and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Experience with Integrating automated testing scripts with DevOps tools and processes.

Leadership & People Management:
- Set appropriate context when assigning work to ensure that individuals roles support the achievement of the business units priorities and CIBCs overall goals.
- Build team and individual capabilities by providing development opportunities such as job shadowing, special projects, and training.
- Manage performance by providing fair and accurate formal and informal feedback, identifying and removing obstacles to performance, and explaining how performance expectations align with business priorities.
