Role Description The Production Manager will oversee end-to-end production operations for knitwear and related product lines, ensuring quality standards, on-time delivery, and efficient resource utilization. This full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area involves planning production schedules, coordinating with design, merchandising, procurement, and quality teams, and monitoring workflow across manufacturing units. The role includes managing production staff, implementing best practices for safety and compliance, and troubleshooting daily operational issues.

The Production

Manager will track key performance indicators, optimize processes,



and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with sustainability and ethical manufacturing goals. The position also requires regular reporting to senior leadership and active collaboration with vendors and external partners to maintain seamless supply chain operations.

Qualifications

- Strong production planning and operations management skills, including scheduling, capacity planning, and workflow optimization.
- Experience in apparel or textile manufacturing, preferably knitwear, with solid knowledge of end-to-end production processes and quality control.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate cross-functional teams, with skill in performance management and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in using production management or ERP systems, as well as basic data analysis for tracking KPIs and making process improvements.
- Knowledge of sustainability, compliance, and ethical manufacturing standards; familiarity with certifications such as GOTS, GRS, or SEDEX is an advantage.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and international clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; relevant qualified experience in a similar role is required.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area and adapt to fast-paced manufacturing environments.
