We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Plant / Production Manager to oversee daily operations at our Pears processing and cold storage facility in Jaspur, Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in cold store management (CA/MA storage systems), fresh produce floor operations (grading, sorting, packing), inventory control, and yield optimization to maintain international quality standards

Key Responsibilities Plant & Floor Management

- Oversee end-to-end production floor operations, including unloading, washing, grading, sizing, sorting, packaging, and dispatching of pears.
- Maintain daily production schedules to maximize throughput while minimizing wastage, fruit damage, and operational downtime.
- Supervise floor supervisors, operators, and contractual labor force to ensure efficient labor utilization and daily output targets.

Cold Storage Operations
- Manage cold storage rooms (Atmosphere & Temperature Control) to maintain optimal humidity, temperature, and gas levels specifically required for long-term pear preservation.
- Monitor pull-down times, precooling,



and cold chain protocols to preserve shelf-life and prevent post-harvest post-ripening or rot.
- Oversee routine maintenance, compressor operations, refrigeration machinery, and temperature logging systems.

Quality Control & Wastage Reduction
- Implement strict quality control checks at receiving, processing, storage, and dispatch stages.
- Minimize post-harvest losses and ensure fruit handling protocols are strictly followed by all floor staff.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and industry standards (FSSAI / APEDA guidelines).

Logistics, Inventory & Reporting
- Track real-time inventory levels of raw produce, packaged stock, packaging materials, and cold store capacities.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for inbound fruit supply and logistics teams for outbound market dispatches.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports on production yield, electricity/fuel consumption, labor costs, and wastage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
