Role & responsibilities
Prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs based on railway/civil drawings, specifications and tender documents.
Prepare cost estimates and detailed rate analysis for railway infrastructure and civil works.
Conduct and verify site measurements and joint measurements with contractors and site teams.
Verify RA bills, interim bills and final bills against executed quantities and approved BOQ.
Monitor project costs, quantities and budget and identify deviations or potential cost overruns.
Prepare and manage variations, extra items, substituted items and deviation statements.
Evaluate and support contractor claims, EOT, escalation and additional-cost claims.
Review contracts, tender conditions, BOQ and commercial terms and ensure compliance.
Verify subcontractor bills, measurements and material reconciliation with executed works.
Prepare final accounts, quantity reconciliation and commercial close-out of railway projects.
Preferred candidate profile
510 years of experience in railway infrastructure, EPC or civil construction projects, preferably with a Civil Engineering qualification.
Robust experience in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, estimation and rate analysis.
Hands-on experience in site measurements, RA bills, final billing and quantity reconciliation.
Valuable exposure to variations, extra items, contractor claims, EOT and railway contract management.
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD, with solid commercial, analytical and documentation skills.
