Accountant – E-commerce Company

Job Responsibilities
Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
Maintain and reconcile bank, cash, customer and vendor accounts.
Manage e-commerce platform reconciliations, including orders, settlements, returns, cancellations, refunds, commissions and deductions.
Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance and maintain proper records.
Prepare monthly reports, P&L;, outstanding reports and other management reports.
Coordinate with vendors, auditors and other internal teams for accounting-related requirements.
Perform inventory reconciliation and regular inventory audits to identify stock discrepancies, shortages, excess stock and system-vs-physical stock differences.
Verify purchase invoices, stock entries, sales invoices and inventory movements.
Track and reconcile inventory across warehouse, e-commerce platforms and accounting records.




Ensure accurate and timely data entry in accounting/ERP software.
Assist management in identifying financial discrepancies, errors and process gaps.

Requirements
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in an E-commerce / Retail / D2C company.
Solid knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel and accounting principles.
Valuable understanding of GST, TDS and e-commerce settlements/reconciliations.
Experience in inventory reconciliation and inventory audit will be preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
Valuable analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience handling accounting and reconciliation for platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, Myntra or other e-commerce marketplaces will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
