Role Overview :

n

The role will cover core fund operations, fund accounting & finance, legal & compliance coordination and regulatory reporting. The candidate should be capable of independently managing the function and coordinating with internal teams and external service providers.

n

Key Responsibilities :

n

n
- Independently manage end-to-end fund operations of Category III AIFs, including subscriptions, investments, redemptions, distributions, transfers and other fund activities.
n
- Oversee NAV computation, fund accounting, investor accounting, fee calculations, accruals and reconciliations.
n
- Independently prepare and monitor fund cash-flow forecasts and expense budgets, track actuals against budgets and ensure appropriate allocation of fund expenses.
n
- Independently prepare and coordinate monthly and year-end closing including preparation and review of financial statements and related schedules.
n
- Coordinate with RTA, custodian, fund administrator, brokers, banks and other service providers.
n
- Ensure timely and accurate SEBI filings and other statutory/regulatory reporting.
n




- Coordinate with legal counsel on fund documentation, subscription documents, side letters, amendments and other legal matters.
n
- Independently coordinate with statutory auditors, tax advisors and other professional advisors for audits, tax and financial reporting.
n
- Monitor compliance with the PPM, fund documents, SEBI regulations, investment limits and operational controls.
n
- Maintain operational processes, controls and compliance calendars and drive process improvements.

Candidate Profile :

n

n
- CA/MBA (Finance) with strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts relevant to investment funds.
n
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in Category III AIF operations with an Asset Management Company / Investment Manager.
n
- Strong hands-on experience in Category III AIF operations is essential.
n
- Must have end-to-end knowledge of the AIF lifecycle and ability to independently manage fund operations.
n
- Strong understanding of fund accounting, NAV, investor accounting, reconciliations and investment operations.
n
- Valuable understanding of SEBI AIF regulations, compliance and regulatory reporting.
n
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
