VMware Administration and Windows Server Administration responsibilities include managing and supporting a large-scale virtualized setting.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
n
- Provision and manage virtual machines
n
- Monitor performance and resource utilization
n
- Manage HA, DRS, vMotion
n
- Perform migrations, snapshots, cloning
n
- Troubleshoot VMware issues
n
- Patch and upgrade infrastructure
n
- Manage Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022
n
- Administer Active Directory,



DNS, DHCP, GPO
n
- Handle patching and security updates
n
- Monitor server performance
n
- Troubleshoot OS issues
n
- Provide L2/L3 support
n
- Handle incidents and escalations
n
- Perform RCA
n
- Ensure SLA compliance
n
- Manage backup tools (Veeam, Commvault)
n
- Perform restores and DR drills
n

Qualifications

- B.E/B.Tech, Mtech, Msc
n

n

Required Skills

n

- VMware vSphere experience
n
- Windows Server administration
n
- Active Directory knowledge

- Experience with 300+ VMs
