The main responsibilities of a Patent Associate will include:

Drafting provisional and complete specifications for filing of patent application in Indian and foreign jurisdictions

Conducting patent & non-patent literature searches including prior art, freedom to operate, invalidation and other searches

Providing insightful analysis of search results from various sources by preparing and delivering timely,



value-added patent search reports

Attending to examination reports and appearing before patent office

Assisting in patent oppositions (pre-grant and post-grant)

Providing technical support to the litigation team

Desired Skills and Experience

Graduate/ Postgraduate in Engineering (Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering)

In-depth knowledge of patents or 3-4 years of experience in patent prosecution and opposition

Proficiency in MS Office and required drawing packages

Excellent command over the English language (written & verbal)
