Kaliyaganj Agro Trading Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Cost Accountant to join our factory operations and manage costing, inventory control, production-related accounting, and financial analysis.

The candidate will work closely with the Factory, Production, Purchase, Stores and Accounts teams to ensure accurate costing and effective cost control.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain product-wise and process-wise cost sheets.
Calculate and monitor raw material, labour, power, overhead and production costs.
Track actual cost vs. standard/budgeted cost and analyze variances.
Monitor raw material, finished goods and WIP inventory.
Reconcile physical stock with book/ERP records and investigate discrepancies.
Prepare factory costing and MIS reports for management.
Analyze production yield, wastage, consumption and material variances.
Monitor manufacturing overheads and identify areas for cost reduction.
Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase and Accounts departments.




Assist in monthly closing, stock valuation and management reporting.
Ensure proper documentation and accounting of manufacturing costs.
Support internal/external audits and provide costing-related data.
Maintain accurate costing records and improve costing systems/processes.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Management Accounting.
Positive understanding of manufacturing/factory costing.
Knowledge of inventory valuation, WIP, BOM, variance analysis and overhead allocation.
Valuable command of MS Excel Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, etc.
Experience with ERP/accounting software preferred.
Solid analytical and reconciliation skills.
Ability to work with factory and production teams.
Good communication and reporting skills.
